October, Fall is on the way

Gerald arrived in October 9 2 and 23 inches long.

The BLUE Sale is Oct. 10-16, 2013. Eggs, Gelatin, BABY Carrots, Big Blue soda and Blueberry Yogurt.

After a warm start to October, more seasonal temps are here.

Fall Produce: Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage are in. Pears are in, Oranges in shortly.

Fall Candy is on the shelf and if I’m allowed to say (seasonal candy) will follow shortly.

Milk in October is up 1-3 cents per gallon. Butter prices continue to rise but look for 1 more good sale before Christmas. Cheese is holding steady a this point.

We avoid the Halloween theme in our store. Lowfat Chocolate milk 1/2 gallons and gallons will return in November. Also some of the other items are limited due to not putting Halloween packaging out.

Fresh pressed Apple cider is here from Kauffmans. Apples are more abundant this year so prices are down.

Thanksgiving Day is coming. Its good to be thankful all year round. Have you ever had a fresh, never frozen turkey for Thankgiving? We sell fresh turkeys $1.99 lb to be picked up after 2PM on Tuesday or 8-6PM on Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving. All turkeys must be ordered a week ahead.
