October is Here

Leaves are just starting to change here in lancaster county. Fall Candy is on the shelf. Gummi pumpkins, Candy corn, and other pumpkin candy are popular now. Cheese and Butter are slowly climbing in prices. Kauffman’s Cider and apples, due to the frost this spring are higher but available. Thanksgiving Season

Fall season is well under way here in Lancaster County. Thanksgiving is this month only 3 weeks away. The hurricane brought us 4 inches of rain and some wind but we were spared the damage that some got. The Lord has truly blessed us beyond measure. Have you ever tried cooking and eating a fresh turkey rather then a frozen turkey. I have an alleregy to eating poultry so I’ve never tried it but I hear thereis a big difference

Happy New Year 2013

We trust you had a good holiday with family and friends over Christmas and are having a prosperous new year. Christmas candy is still on the shelf and Valentine candy is making it’s way on already. May is Here!

Spring is here, after officially arriving amonth and a half ago. Fresh Spinach, Leaf lettuce are now homegrown and quite tasty. Asparagus will soon be in but unsure whether we will be able to sell any here, due to supplier unable to provide us with it. Strawberries should be around by the end of the month. August is Summertime

August is here and school starts this month here in Hempfield and in many parts of the lower Susqehanna Valley. Look for a Back in School sale in late August. Homegrown fruits and vegetables are in with abundance: Seedless watermelon, cantaloupe, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, zucchini, blackberries, peaches, green beans, onions, red beets, and potatoes are in now. Gerald arrived in October 9 2 and 23 inches long. The BLUE Sale is Oct. 10-16, 2013. Eggs, Gelatin, BABY Carrots, Big Blue soda and Blueberry Yogurt.
